Acting as an owner’s agent, Duramater represents the owner’s interests and standards as the first person on the job and the last to leave. We interact with all aspects and details of a project having 12 years experience in networking, resources and people.

Responsibilities include:

Creating a plan and sequence of events — step by step procedures to meet time and budget goals allowing for a smooth and proper work flow.

Meeting with bidding contractors and walking through specific job requirements and standards thereby bypassing misunderstandings in the bidding process.

Setting owner priorities for product selection and timing.

Coordinating subcontractors for a smooth and efficient work flow.

Accommodating daily operational parameters such as water, power, materials, delivery accuracy and placement, postings, trash containment, access, permits and safety procedures.

Quality control — making sure standards are being met such as use of glue, proper sheathing placement and corners.

Assuming comptroller duties — keeping a job journal for deliveries, inspections, personnel hours and the completed work inspection.

Site security — ensuring a secure environment at the end of each day.

Acting as foreman and laborer in the situations of sweat equity or home crews.

Ongoing search for ways to save money on labor and materials.

Acting as a “tour guide” for neighbors, realtors and potential buyers.
